<p>Today I woke feeling awesome! It was a great way to start the day. Then it came to me to share how I feel so good in general, and specifically when walking. This has a lot to do with some special people in my life over the years.</p>
<p>In my younger days I walked regularly-to school, to and on campus, to get around. It wasn&#8217;t until I met someone who would walk at any time given the opportunity that I was introduced to a new level of joy in walking. He had a different perspective and was physically fit, a contrast to me, before <strong>Walking to Lose Weight</strong>.</p>
<p>This changed my attitude a little towards walking. It became something I did for pleasure. Walking with him in the bush or even locally would become an awakening to nature for me. I had managed little understanding or exposure to the natural world until that point. While on a walk he would frequently point out leaves and animal tracks with some interesting tidbit of information. But he also loved walking the shoreline or around a nice area to look at the houses. Obviously we had moved on to a new level of relationship and houses were of interest to us. We would look at the houses and gardens for inspiration-summer was especially good. The houses come to life with open doors and activity outside. </p>
<p>Thanks to him even after we went our separate ways I felt different about walking and eventually <em>Walking to Lose Weight</em>. He was, and still is, a very funny man. I love people with a good sense of humour. </p>
<p>Another Walking to Lose Weight example is a very good friend whom I have known longer than anyone other than my brother.</p>
<p>She has a lovely sense of humour and we have a lot of fun together. We live in different states so that is not often. It is only recently that we have taken the opportunity when we are together to walk as much as possible. These have been so totally joyful that I want all walking to lose weight to be like that.</p>
<p>She appreciates the opportunity to walk with someone. I would walk anyway. Even if I try to sneak in a walk without her it never works, she manages to come too. The result is that we have so much fun. I have laughed so  much I can feel my body being exercised all over. Someone who wants to have fun is the perfect walking partner!</p>
<p>Walk alone unless you can find other<em> feel good</em> walkers.<br />

<p>How often are the best opportunities the ones staring you right in the face?</p>
<p>Getting older offers one particular blessing-that there is no one &#8216;found it&#8217; going to do it that way for the rest of my life&#8230;Everything changes, yourself included. There is a certain comfort in knowing that &#8216;well I&#8217;ve made that decision&#8217; and not having to think it out again but if you&#8217;ve accepted what once was the best decision for you at the time as a forever decision you may benefit enormously from reviewing it. Such as your attitude to exercise or weight loss and in this particular case, <em>Walking to Lose Weight</em>.</p>
<p>I know that Walking to Lose Weight has been hidden from others to a certain extent by most people who do it. There has been good reason for this. Others even with the best intentions often don&#8217;t &#8216;get it&#8217; and this can be discouraging for some. Since it is a regular and time consuming habit it can alter your lifestyle and ways of associating with friends. Over time it can mean making new friends though so look at it as a way of expanding your social or employment network.</p>
<p>Try walking the New York way for instance. This city is well know for walking. It is not an entertainment but a means of getting around. Totally admirable and weight loss oriented.The distance covered can be many city blocks and it is not a stroll! Just a normal part of a normal day. It isn&#8217;t hidden at all.</p>
<p>Or use a lunch break to walk to a vendor on the other side of the city. Walk to do your chores such as dry cleaning, etc.</p>
<p>These are skinny people, friends! Learn from them.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Recently events have brought to my attention that many of you don&#8217;t understand this <strong>walking to lose weight</strong> lifestyle the way I do. The  new lifestyle walker finds the time to do it for the many benefits walking provides.</p>
<p>While <em>walking to lose weight </em>I do a lot of  mental reviews. It is a great way to practice law of attraction.</p>
<h3>Appreciation:</h3>
<p>As an example the act of appreciation is tantamount to inviting things you appreciate into your life. These may be replicas of what you identify as appreciating or something that will lead you to feel a similar appreciation. Set out walking with the goal of appreciating as much as possible.</p>

<p>For those whose lives have been limited by illness, depression or other restrictive issues, and overweight or regaining fitness is the aim of your <span style="text-decoration: underline;">walking to lose weight </span>program, exercise induced deep breathing is a life changer. There are physiological benefits to deep breathing and everyone knows that at some level when exercising you are breathing quicker. This is a good thing! Improved lung capacity, blood circulation, energising high&#8230;For those able to at least walk, regular, especially daily, deep breathing whether through exercise exertion or meditation is a great boost to your living skills. Walking the right way can do this! What an advantage-lose weight, get fitter, improve your  mood, and meditate all in one!</p>
<p>For those who are walking for weight loss or fitness yet still have extraordinarily interactive lives, perhaps what could be called an extraverted life, then daily meditation is a must. The first lot of people above often lack social interaction and walking acts as a means of getting out of themselves. The other group are often surrounded by others and if walking to lose weight may find it welcome personal time. If exercise without others around you is a turn off and meditation seems boring then you may be relying on stimulation from external causes and you would definitely benefit from a more traditional meditation approach.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>How often have you considered walking as a way to lose weight? You may be one of the many active walkers out there but of course I&#8217;m talking specifically to anyone who hasn&#8217;t taken that first step. <strong>Walking to lose weight </strong>is an obvious exercise for those with serious weight issues. Doctors tend to be fond of it as the easiest option to &#8216;sell&#8217;. It is cheap, non-technical, can be done alone, etc. For some it is outside their capability but for most it is the easiest to adapt to any level of fitness. If getting out of the chair and walking across the room exhausts you then that is exercise!</p>
<p>I know that taking on a <em>walking to lose weight</em> program can seem daunting. This is often the exercise of last resort and the walker must contend with multiple issues. Health can play into obesity and obesity affects health. Constricting yourself from exercise for whatever reason starts a trend towards inactivity that can have serious health problems including depression.</p>
<p><strong>Walking for weight loss </strong>offers multiple benefits both physically and mentally. When you are ready to give up making excuses and put the power into solutions then <span style="text-decoration: underline;">walking to lose weight</span> has a lot to offer.</p>
<p>This recent article, <a title="Loses 200 lb One Day at a Time" href="http://www.ahealthiermichigan.org/2011/06/17/traverse-city-sportswriter-lost-200-pounds-one-day-at-a-time/" target="_blank">Traverse City Sports Writer Loses 200 Lb</a>,  includes a significant amount of information relating to obesity. However one aspect I want to focus on for some of this post is the idea that others are a good gauge in any way. Mike let himself believe that his weight wasn&#8217;t extreme because his friends didn&#8217;t mention it. We often use unconscious selection criteria when choosing friends and associates. Overweight people often surround themselves with other overweight people. Under exercisers often surround themselves with other under exercisers.</p>
<p>Most likely he already believed he was overweight but was able to avoid it by making his friends the decision makers for his behaviour. He set a criteria he knew would mean he could deny the issue. The same process but used to fin<span style="color: #333333;">d supportive thoughts, words and emotions, would have created the perfect environment for change. </span></p>

<blockquote><p><span style="color: #333333;">Isn&#8217;t that saying the same thing? It&#8217;s wrong but it&#8217;s right? The answer is NO.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #333333;">The first step for most people is to get the difference. One way is finding excuses not to make a decision to change his behaviour, the other is finding ways to make the process easy.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #333333;">Listen to overweight people talking about their weight, or their body parts. Suggesting that someone interested in weight loss should remove it as a statement of their<em> personal value</em> is one way of using <strong>law of attraction</strong> principles to support <em>walking for weight loss</em>.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #333333;">Weight loss<em> shouldn&#8217;t be personal</em>. Put better, weight loss processes work best when you depersonalise them.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #333333;"><em>Law of attraction</em> and weight loss as a combination is a natural fit. Evidence presents itself everyday of the effective use of words and thoughts but especially emotions to prompt a new view of your body.</span></p>

We stick to this process over time by <em>feeling good </em>about it enough to do it consistently. Weight stays off by keeping up the basics of the process once the desired weight loss is achieved.</p>
<p>For this reason any weight loss process is more than &#8216;exercise&#8217; it is a lifestyle decision. For the same reason it has to be a lot better than &#8216;old style&#8217; exercise or diets.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s look at your support structure. Does it include a variety of exercise options that include all weather  and circumstances? Is it generally financially sound and not at risk of dropping off when other commitments get in the way? Can it withstand the occasional injury or health problem?</p>
<p><strong>Walking to lose weight</strong> suits modern lifestyles. It is flexible, cheap, feels good, and most ages or ability can do it.</p>
<p><em>Walking to lose weight</em> is a  popular choice for weight loss exercise and my observation over the last few years has an increasing number of walkers out on the streets and  not just in the pretty or scenic places. Running also has become <em>sexy</em> as exercise and attracts an increasing number, especially men, although plenty  of women indulge.</p>
<p>The largest <a title="Walking Most Popular Weight Loss Exercise" href="http://www.walkingtoloseweight.net/walking-to-lose-weight/consumer-reports-walking-to-lose-weight-is-key" target="_blank">consumer research report</a> in the USA over the last decade found that the majority of those researched who had successfully lost weight and then maintained most of that weight loss for the next 5 years, continued their exercise program during those 5 years <em>post </em>weight loss. <strong>Walking </strong>was the most popular exercise for weight loss. It was a mainstay with successful losers who then chose a variety of exercises that they enjoyed to add to the variety and feel good factor.</p>
<h2>The latest accessory to most exercise and weight loss is the use of the Internet for support, information and assistance on technical issues.</h2>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>What I want is to love my lifestyle and my body. My lifestyle has to support my health, well being and joy. Choosing how to do this is the main <em>secret</em> i.e. what will bring me everything <em>I</em> want.</p>
<p>It has to fit in with the other important areas of my life such as work, family, friends, social responsibilities.</p>
<p>I love the world I live in as it provides so many opportunities and vehicles for creating a lifestyle that gives me everything I want.</p>
<p>What&#8217;s this got to do with <strong>walking to lose weight</strong>?</p>
<p>Well it all had to start somewhere and that&#8217;s where it started for me. It is my short hand description of what I did to create a physical support system for the best lifestyle for me.  In doing it I made exercise a regular part of my daily life. By doing <em>that</em> I made deep breathing a regular daily practice-my favorite form of &#8216;meditation&#8217;.</p>
<p>I found walking to be a natural uplifter, and combined with my law of attraction practices easily and well.</p>
<p><em>Walking to Lose Weight</em> became a vehicle for me to start thinking creatively. <em>Walking to Lose Weight </em>enabled me to review the various processes and select those that worked best for me. I was able to see myself anew. I am fun, enjoy my life, family and friends, have been engaged in my business for over 2 years, enjoy a freedom that encompasses but is not exclusive to my physical health.</p>
<p><strong>Some other secrets for hot  hot hot summer weather:</strong></p>
<p>Check your heart rate every 10 minutes when actively exercising to ensure you are within normal boundaries. Higher body temperatures means the heart works harder and you may find a little exercise goes a long way! My gym does a regular 10 second stop which makes this easy.</p>
<p>Let your body acclimatize to sudden onset hot weather and build up to a &#8216;normal&#8217; exercise level.</p>
<p>Extra fluid is very important. This can be consumed through food as well as water or other drinks. Summer foods such as salads are good water sources. Food and drinks must be kept up to enable your body to deal with cooling. When exercising I keep a washer dampened with cold water or sometimes from the freezer, with the water bottle and use it freely to help my body cool.</p>
<p>Excess heat requires extra fluids but you can also help by cooling your body through sucking ice blocks or frozen fruits, bringing down your temperature with cold showers.</p>
<p>Extremes of heat or cold require planning if you are to continue with your exercise or walking to lose weight. Don&#8217;t be afraid to modify your path to make it work for you e.g. walking inside with a dvd or in a gym. It can affect your eating also and in summer for you to continue to exercise you must eat and drink regularly. Counter cravings for sugar and ice cream with alternatives and choose your food from water filled ingredients such as salads and fruits. Weight loss can continue.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve learned to love the summer alternatives. For me this is a breakthrough. No longer a hot weather victim I have created enough strategies and tools that allow me to be a fun-ctioning person no matter the weather.</p>

<p>However after a few years now of walking (specifically to  lose weight at first but eventually just to enjoy a <em>lived </em>life) I am so excited by the overall benefits of <em>walking to lose weight</em> that I am almost prepared to rave about it.</p>
<p>My recent decision to reduce in size until I fit in clothes from my 20s has caused me slight puzzlement as I realized for the first time that my goals prior to this although they felt good, were in fact second best, as I was still larger than the former size.</p>
<p>Walking to lose weight is like my own drug that has started a snowball effect of continuous improvement in my lifestyle. It was the start-as I felt better and more in control of my life I added other feel good strategies that eventually led to even more weight control and a fitness level better than at any other time of my life until now.</p>
<p>I feel that what happens at mid-life, rather than simply menopause,  is more that the body and life neglect from the first 40 years catches up. It&#8217;s an accumulation that reaches a tipping point. If your mind can&#8217;t cope any more, than your body sometimes slows everything down.</p>
<p>This is to say that I am not sure what comes first &#8211; the mental and physical &#8216;slowing down&#8217; due to hormonal changes, or that the mental and physical &#8216;slowing down&#8217; causes the hormone changes. I&#8217;m not denying  menopause. Nor is this the answer everyone is looking for-but it&#8217;s worked wonders for me.</p>
<p>I no longer think it is some sort of destiny that requires physical (and mental) deterioration as we age. I have heard numerous people express a desire for a slowing down, less mental responsibility, to be left alone, as a response to the increasing pressure of life, approaching 50 years of age.</p>
<p>I feel so good now that I advocate adopting a new lifestyle for anyone finding the one that started at a much younger age, and accumulated layers haphazardly, be replaced by a well thought out lifestyle of choice. In no way is this advocating abandoning friends family job etc. Simply start walking to lose weight if you are inactive, over ten pounds overweight and want more good things in your life.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Halfway There in Walking to Lose Weight Month!</strong></p>
<p>I have been enjoying the discipline of writing daily on my thoughts and issues around walking and weight loss. Summer weather has just begun seriously and this automatically requires me to adjust to cooler options.</p>
<p>A local women&#8217;s gym has a two week trial offer that I&#8217;ve taken up &#8211; and I&#8217;ve just returned feeling tired from my first circuit. I feel sure that if it wasn&#8217;t for the 3 short walks I did this morning I would have been less tired.</p>
<p>About twenty years a go I did a social ballroom dancing class. One evening my instructor was trying to understand why I was finding certain steps hard even though normally I could do them. During the discussion I mentioned that I had been to an aerobics class before coming to dance. He was amazed at my ignorance!</p>
<p>Apparently I wasn&#8217;t easy to convince. He called on another teacher to confirm the lunacy of trying to learn tricky dance steps with tired leg muscles.  No wonder my feet weren&#8217;t doing what they were supposed to do! I did not realize that muscles could get tired and perform less well.</p>
<p>Those who genuinely dislike exercise tend to lack basic common sense when it comes to how exercise or the lack of it, impacts on their health and well being.</p>
<p>That was me. Then through walking and now some running for weight loss, I have learned to appreciate the intricate support system that is my body. Walking to lose weight is such a small price to pay for the gift of vitality.</p>
<p><em>Walking to lose weight</em> becomes the open doorway to more fuel in your tank.</p>

Some of the simple pleasures of life that don&#8217;t require anyone else doing the right thing, making you feel good, good news or results, come from getting up and going out the door to walk for weight loss.</strong></p>
<p><strong>We all find times when we like to relax. It feels really good under certain circumstances. Yet there are times when it feels really good to be excited too! There is a repression of &#8216;excitement&#8217; amongst many families. Excitement makes someone harder to control. The growing trend towards finding your passion or the desire to have a passionate life is a reflection that many have lost it.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Fear of excitement in others can be one reason for negative attitudes towards another&#8217;s attempt to make significant changes. When it comes to exercise the effect of a regular dynamic body workout is to eventually become energized and want to do things.</strong></p>
<p><strong>As we age we often lessen excitement along with vigor. Vitality tends to come along with active lives. Sedentary lives often attract weight gain and muscle loss.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Part of <em>walking to lose weight</em> as a lifestyle is the physically joyful approach to the world around you that is very soon automatic when you start walking. It becomes second nature to look for the beauty of nature or human endeavor.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Watch children playing. We like them to have fun and there is a number of ways each of us let ourselves experience good times. There are the quiet times. Then there are active times. A balanced person is able to be fully engaged in both. Watch a kitten or dog. </strong></p>
<p><strong>Walking is a major form of activity that fits into most lives easily. It is of benefit in countless ways.</strong></p>
<p><strong>An additional benefit is to be able to start thinking of yourself as an <em>action</em> person!</strong></p>

<p><strong>Truthfully for most of us, weight loss success is a combination of all three. For me, since I believe strongly  in walking to lose weight, I concentrate on motivating myself and others to actually do the walking. </strong></p>
<p><strong>Simultaneously though, I monitor my food intake and bring as much positive energy to the process as I can. </strong></p>
