This is just a very specific sub section of the whole weight loss and exercise industries but an important one. It is intriguing how intimate a process losing weight can be and how choice of method is much more about who we are than how our bodies work.

Is rarely the sexy “new” exercise cult. Sexy in walking to lose weight context means is it appealing to the media, are young starlets and super models coming out as walkers? Is it how athletes trim down? Does the super stud of the football team go for an early morning walk? Walking without other exercise is unlikely to result in the super honed athlete’s body.
Is everyday and therefore not seen as some sort of miracle cure. If you do it everyday and have a weight problem, how can it work for weight loss?
Even the elderly, frail and ill can walk taking away any satisfaction from achieving something unusual.
The purpose-built electronic devices which aid exercise are a first option for under 30′s in this technological age.
Faith is very important for an exercise or diet routine- collective faith is often stronger but walking can be a difficult group activity. Sometimes a walking partner wants the daily get together but sabotages the walking/exercise/diet aspects.
Is there a perfect way to exercise, think, believe, participate for walking to lose weight?
Surround yourself with other people who have or desire the same or a similar result. Inspirational!
Tools such as dvds, pedometers, gyms, trainers, food, life examples are all sensible and easy accessories to walking for weight loss.
Walking can be social or otherwise. It’s up to you. Even walking dvds are actually fun to do with a partner.
The often slower weight loss from walking regularly allows for other adjustments particularly enabling you to avoid problems from quick weight loss where the body and skin especially cannot keep up with the change.
Walking to lose weight works, is economical, getting started is easy, you can do it a variety of ways and places, with or without others…
