Walking to Lose Weight-Day 20
Exercise Your Options!
As we started this 31 Ways to Lose Weight Walking program on January 1st, it is probably a crucial time for you, because right about now the enthusiasm which kicked in to support all the weight loss New Year Resolutions starts to fade. Or alternatively you may have been too busy to begin at all and about now you may be ready to forget them totally.
Time to exercise your option to continue walking.
Sometimes a special reason such as a ‘time to get my life together’ or a social event to attend, even a medical review, may get us into walking to lose weight. The secret to success is in lasting beyond that initial motivation and short term commitment.
The decision you make at this point is the most pivotal one for this program. Decide whether you want to make the changes necessary to get the results you want, even if they’re a bit uncomfortable, even if you have to try more than one way of doing it, even if you basically have to do it on your own because although others are there to support you, they cannot do it instead of you.
Who do you want to be? A dancer, a groover, a thriver? Or the one who understandably (we’ve been through it ourselves!) lives under your life’s potential.
There are many positive ways to be in this super-abundant world. Your body size and health do not make you less than others in any way. If you decide not to proceed along the Walking to Lose Weight path that’s more than OK. This or any other process for weight loss can never substitute for your decision to do it- to commit every day, and re-commit on those other days when you waver.
Ultimately whatever tools you recruit to support your weight loss, and most of us use many, in main it is your attitude and expectation of what is required and what you can achieve which decides the outcome.
Exercise your options by getting whatever you need to be successful!
